The School of Living Hope in Pakistan serves nearly 200 children with the opportunity to receive an education, grow in confidence, and progress toward a better future. Right now, our school is facing urgent needs that are affecting daily learning and operations. Our school vehicle has been out of service for several months and needs new tires and engine repairs so staff can safely handle school needs and transportation. We also need laptops for our administrators, repairs for computers in the computer lab, and new desktop computers and LED screens to replace equipment damaged by flooding. Reliable technology is essential for school records, lesson preparation, student learning, and computer education. In addition, our nursery and prep classes need interactive wall displays and learning materials. We also need to repair student desks, purchase new desks where needed, provide paper and stationery for the school year, repair play equipment and the schoolyard, and install a new water filtration system so students can receive safe drinking water each day. Because electricity outages are common, we are also seeking a solar backup unit to help keep the school functioning when power is unavailable. These funds will help us strengthen the school environment, protect daily learning, and provide the basic tools our students and teachers need to succeed. We do not have enough financial support at the moment to begin construction on a new school building.
